The Thai women's futsal team defeated Australia 5-4 in the final to win the ASEAN Women's Futsal Championship title. In the semi-finals, Thailand beat Vietnam 4-2, while Australia overcame Indonesia 3-2 after extra time.
Thailand dominated from the start, attacking continuously. In the 5th minute, from a corner kick, Nattamon Atkla passed to Saengrawee Meekham, who scored with her left foot, putting the Thai women's futsal team ahead 1-0.
In the 17th minute, Australia was awarded a throw-in, and Halle Smith's shot deflected off Saengrawee Meekham into the net, equalizing the score 1-1. In the 19th minute, Thailand regained the lead from a throw-in; Jenjira Bubpha's shot went in off the near post, making it 2-1, which was the score at the end of the first half.
In the second half, at the 23rd minute, Australia leveled 2-2 from a corner kick. Nikita Fazzari's shot deflected off Sasiprapa Suksen into the goal. At the 24th minute, Australia took the lead from a free kick. Alessia Carries Stahl's shot went through the wall, putting Australia ahead 3-2.
